Public Library Fun

We have been visiting our public library for their reading program. During this time we have discovered you can learn how to tie a tie by reading instructions, author C.L. Threatt visited to read his books to us & performed a puppet show, and we had a magician show us magic that he learned from reading books..

This lil man decided to take a lil rest on my legs. :)

Few days of Art

On Monday we painted with water colors. We could make a person, dog, or cat. We were suppose to make it using different shapes. We then painted in the shapes using "warm" and "light" colors. You can see our beautiful art work displayed on the walls in our "open play area". 

We visited the public library and was able to meet Smokey the Bear!

On Tuesday we discussed sculptures. We made our own animal sculpture with modeling clay. We have displayed them on our cubbies.  

On Wednesday we continued discussing sculptures and made this fancy sculpture using aluminum foil and a skewer.
